Sarah C. Harwell
was born in Nashville, TN but lasted only a year, and therefore never became the country music star she was meant to be. Now she lives in Syracuse, NY, along with her daughter, her cat and some persistent flour moths in a cheap, old house. She writes when she has the time and can wrestle her fear to the ground. She reads an awful lot. She has a lovely job at Syracuse University teaching undergrads poetry and fiction and is the Associate Director of the Syracuse University MFA Program because no one else wanted to be.
She loves poems like this one and this one.
